Inspection Services

At your convenience, our engineering experts are available for remote or on-site inspection services. With hands-on experience using portable CMM hardware including scanners, portable arms and laser trackers, BuildIT engineers provide first article and dimensional tooling inspection to ensure quality production.

From small parts to large assemblies, we do both on-machine and in-process inspection and can be called upon to measure articles as they move through production on the factory floor. We perform final part inspection to validate that manufactured parts conform to 3D designs. Knowledgeable about industry standard CAD software, our engineers inspect to GD&T. We verify assembly fit to identify and resolve interference issues and we have the tools and technology to perform complex shape verification.

We can be called upon to evaluate part and tooling fit during multi-process cycles to ensure manufacturing repeatability. We provide independent quality verification and can identify and characterize quality issues to propose effective manufacturing solutions.
